School Board Meeting Agenda For Tuesday Night
The Band and Athletic budgets join the agenda as the school trustees meet at 7 30 PM in the Administration Building on the Middle School campus. They will appoint principals for 1977 78, hire auxiliary staff and a secretary, accept resignations, fill a High School vacancy, hire a High School teacher and girls coach, add Plan A Limestone Co op personnel, Title I and State Compensatory staff, and ESAA staff if funding arrives. Bids for bread milk gas oil anti freeze and paving asphalt will be opened. A budget committee will be formed to aid Supt McBay and Business Manager McClue in preparing next year’s budget.

Mexia Police Probe Wreck Burglary Thefts
Police reported a Friday afternoon accident in Mexia when a 1969 Cadillac driven by Effie Hyden Manning collided with a 1972 Ford driven by Minnie Ruth Smith at East Commerce and North Ross. Damage was light to the Manning car and moderate to the Smith car. Police are investigating a Friday burglary at 210 North Ross, the home of Mrs. William Ulrich, and the theft of a CB radio from Melba Nichols.
