Crabbe to leave hospital for Scottsdale for further treatment
Clarence Buster Crabbe Olympic swimmer and film star will depart St Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport today for home in Scottsdale Arizona for further treatment of an undisclosed ailment. Crabbe, 65, was admitted Friday.

Jay Johnson Rites Slated At Teague
Funeral services for Jay Johnson Sr. 69 of Teague and formerly Wortham will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel Teague with Rev. Charles Danheim officiating. Burial will be Greenwood Cemetery. Born November 23 1904 in Wortham he died Monday at home. He was a retired railroad engineer and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include wife Vera Johnson of Teague two daughters Helen Tomme of Cedar Creek three sons J O Johnson Jr Bubba Johnson of Teague and Buster Johnson of Garland his father Frank Johnson of Teague two sisters Lazelle Johnson of Granger and Bessie Mae Johnson of Fort Worth ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
