A suit for the sale of Hidalgo water bonds valued at 620 000 was filed in Travis County District Court by John Blankenship of Dallas with T K Irwin as his attorney. The defendants include O O Norwood E P Cravens Edinburg State Bank and Trust Co J C Epperson and county officials led by Commissioners Court members from Hidalgo. Five Teachers Take Examination In Groesbeck
June 9 five school teachers took examinations for certificates at the regular exam date. Their papers were sent to Austin by county superintendent Mrs. Cora Ferguson. Next teachers examination will be held in July. The injunction hearing on Falls County bond sale begins Thursday in federal court at Waco before Judge C. G. A. Boynton. Plaintiff L. G. Criner of Wichita, Kansas sues Falls County and Marlin National Bank for $115,000 in bond proceeds. Griner had a temporary restraining order issued by Judge Duval West of San Antonio.
