Light fines for seven overloaded gravel truckers in JP court

Parker Bolton Dies In Groesbeck Services Saturday
Verna Parker Bolton Sr aged 50 died in a Groesbeck hospital Thursday. Funeral services were held at Connally-Shelton chapel in Groesbeck with Reverends Aubrey Briggs and Olen Waldrip presiding. Burial followed in Faukenberry cemetery. Bolton born 1901 in Robinson County, formerly of Mexia, worked as farmer and cattleman and belonged to the Baptist church. He is survived by son Parker Bolton of Waco, daughter Bettie Whittaker of New Mexico, four brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.
