Wade Langham died this morning after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at First Methodist Church at 2 30 p m with Rev J L Patterson and Rev Cecil McBeth officiating. Burial follows in the local cemetery. The Hicdle Funeral Home is in charge. Langham, born March 29 1888 in Wortham, lived in Mexia Point Enterprise and Mexia for 30 years. He worked 25 years for Mexia Coca Cola Bottling Co. Survived by wife Mary and siblings J W Langham Martin Langham Mrs Harvey Bain Mrs E A Pote Mrs R F LeFare and other relatives.
Pvt. James M. Brown, son of Figour Brown of Teague, serves with the Signs Battalion in Korea, the Army’s oldest signal battalion. He handles telephone and high frequency radio service for the U S First Corps and serves as a cook with Headquarters Company. He entered the Army last May.
