Teague High School Vocational Agriculture Department sponsors a pasture short course for adult farmers beginning January 10 at 7 00 p m in the Federal Building. Instructor Phillip Nix of Texas A&M brings 19 years of field experience and will cover grasses fertilization weed control and grazing systems. Enrollment is 2 00 with certificates issued after full attendance.

Fat Stock Show Tickets Sell Fast in Fort Worth
Ticket sales for the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show and Rodeo exceed prior years with mail orders strong. The 76th annual event runs January 28 to February 6 at Amon Carter Square featuring 11 000 livestock head and 20 rodeo performances. Judy Lynn headlines rodeo entertainment with over 500 cowboys and more than 86 000 dollars in prize money. Tickets available at Will Rogers Coliseum box office or by mail to P O Box 150 Fort Worth Texas 76101. Rodeo tickets include stock show grounds admission and cost 3 dollars for weekday 2 pm shows and the 10 am Saturday show on January 29.
