Charles Raughman son of Mr and Mrs in Dallas moved from Mexia in 1953. He earned his solo rating and private operator license at 17 and has logged about 380 flying hours with $2000 in lessons. He works at White Rock Airport after school and hopes to build a 1931 Kodiak Speedster midget plane.

Tehuacana families hosted relatives over the weekend including Mr. and Mrs. Dick Gedell and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Crim with children. A Christmas party occurred at the Methodist Church last Thursday night hosted by The Historical Committee. David Haynie Raines, 53, of Robinson died in a Waco hospital with burial in Brushy Cemetery. Mrs. Leslie Shivers of Chickasha Oklahoma, daughter-in-law of Mrs. L. W. Shivers, died in a Tehuacana hospital last week. Burial followed at The Methodist Church in Tehuacana and Wortham Cemetery. Our sympathy is extended to the Shivers family.
