Oletha Church and Sunday School drew strong attendance across both services. The pastor and family were surprised by a church gesture of appreciation, and attendees enjoyed fellowship with many bringing their families. Mr. and Mrs. Troy Randall participated.
Mrs John Stevens visited with her mother on Sunday. Mr and Mrs Gayle Randall and baby of Lamesa met them and Randall family returned with Chet for a four day visit. Mr and Mrs Marvin Stinson attended dedication of new hospital at Martin Sunday afternoon. Mrs Allman Thompson and Mrs J B Linsley went to Mexia Wednesday for Christmas shopping. Mr and Mrs B O Stinson traveled to Houston to help their son Billy Stinson and family move to Louisiana. Doyle Thompson of Dallas spent weekend with Vernon Thompson. Mr and Mrs Alvis Richardson and Dickey visited Sunday with Mr and Mrs W R Thomas.
