Funeral services for 74 year old William Henry Watts will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Tehuacana conducted by Rev Cyril Holt and Rev Ted Badger. Interment follows at Coolidge City Cemetery. Survived by two sons Maude and Dick and four daughters Mrs R Armistead Mrs Lion Walkup Mrs K D Wilks and Mrs Carmine Bill Hancock. eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Watts a prominent landowner was born August 14 1872 in Birmingham Alabama and moved to Texas with his wife Annie Dale to Coolidge in 1914 before relocating to Tehuacana. Pallbearers are Stanley Farrell Ballew John Bounds Juin Hawkins Scott Maddox Levi Collins.

He volunteered for the Air Corps in December 1942 and served with the 74th Bomb Squadron 435th Bomb Group 15th Air Force. He was killed during an attack on June 13 1944.
