Unusual Accident Kills Workman at San Jacinto River
A freak accident killed 18 year old bulldozer operator Robert D Trantham yesterday in the bottomlands of the San Jacinto River five miles north Crosby. Trantham and others were clearing a right of way for a Missouri Pacific railroad detour when the bulldozer blade struck a heavy tree limb, hurled it back, breaking his jaw and fracturing his skull.
