Harold Lloyd Blankenship, 25, a Dallas art student, shot and killed his estranged wife Rosemary, 26, in a downtown insurance office as she sat at her desk. He told police he bought a new .38 pistol and shot her six times to prevent her from harming the kids, asserting they had separated and she had begun divorce proceedings. She died en route to a hospital. two sons, ages two and three, are her children.
