The Farm To Market Beef Contest ended with awards presented by contest chairman Henry Searcy. Jeff Jones won 20 dollars for highest primal cuts, Leo Stahl 20 dollars for best economical gain, and Angel Lenard 5 dollars for best feeding records. Seventeen calves entered with ten 4 H and FFA members competing. calves averaged 41.61 cents per pound, 817 pounds live weight, and 23 cents per pound gain.
