Farmers Of Limestone Vote On Dec 10 For 1964 Cotton Quotas
Limestone County ASCS officials announce the 1964 cotton referendum will be held Tuesday December 10. If two thirds of voters approve quotas, marketing quotas and penalties will apply to upland cotton and price support 65 to 90 percent of parity. If more than one third oppose, quotas and penalties are dropped with no change to price support within parity limits.
