Billy Graham Leads 600 Baptists to Japan Crusade
In Tokyo the Baptist Convention of Japan plans a nationwide evangelistic drive with Billy Graham and 600 Southern Baptists next year. Teams of four will fan across 147 cities, aiming to boost Japan's small church. Most volunteers are Texans, with local leaders framing the effort as supporting Japan's New Life Movement.

City Manager Dan Mize presented a final report on the Mexia street improvement program at a Mexia city commission meeting. The 20 block project cost 6339.30 with 22 cents per square yard. the city paid alleys and intersections. H L Construction of Waco completed work and will be paid 4939 after current and pending checks.
