Fair weather returns to Texas but frost is forecast in several vegetable growing regions and Central Texas tonight with a low near 32 in Mexia. Rain chances are slim for five days though some showers may occur later next week. Brownsville topped 71 while Lubbock and Salt Flat dropped to 18. Beaumont reported 3.02 inches of rain for Thursday. A tornado near Trinity left three injured as debris cleanup began.
