Mexia Citizen Sets Out On Real Fishing Expedition
Raymond L. Ray of Mexia and Vanrent Ray Pharmacy leaves Dallas by air for San Diego to crew a tuna expedition along the west coast of Mexico and Central America. The voyage, possibly to the Galapagos, lasts 40 to 60 days with tuna frozen aboard for processing in San Diego. Ray is a former U S Navy chief engineer and plans to return to Mexia after the trip with his wife and son Richard remaining at Pt Enterprise.
