Cornell University Finds New Evidence on Body Weight
Ithaca New York AP reports Cornell University psychologist David A. Levitsky says body weight tends to stay constant despite diets exercise or fat tissue removal. He theorizes an ideal weight the brain monitors via fat cell messengers guiding metabolic efficiency and fat burning. Further work seeks a chemical substitute to alter fat signals and aid overweight treatment.

Teague Rites Held Sunday For M F Frost
Funeral services for Marvin Francis Frost 66 of Teague were held Sunday at 3 in Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel Teague with Rev Chamberlain officiating. Burial followed at Greenwood Cemetery. Frost died Friday at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco after residing in Teague about a year. He was a retired mechanic engineer for Zumwalt and Ventura Company. He belonged to the Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Carol Frost two nieces and one nephew. Pallbearers were Jim Kirgan W N Stone Walter Bonner Donald Timmons Jim Munn and H A Etisor.
