Sheriff Charlie Shreve reports the Hardcastle Barbershop on Sherman Street was entered by a skylight and two razors were stolen. Beier Grocery on Sherman Street lost $15 in silver after a vent did not fully stop the thief. A suspect fled toward Dallas on a northbound bus around 11 pm, leaving two razors at a cafe on Railroad Street. A man in khaki clothing attempted to change silver for bills at another restaurant that evening.

U S Plane Crashes, Burns While Landing at Berlin
