Funeral services for Elmer Beasley 74 of Mexia will be held today at 2 in Antioch Baptist Church. The Rev Walter Brown will officiate with burial in Antioch Cemetery. Beasley died Saturday at his residence. He was born August 1 1889 in Freestone County and retired from Texas A and M University. He lived in Mexia ten years and belonged to the Baptist church. Survivors include his wife Inez Beasley a son Clyde Beasley five daughters Moreil Tillman Susie Tindall Sally Sowers nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Blair Stubbs Funeral Home in charge.
