Mrs Caroline Frost McDonald Walters Burgess Chev allier Gardner White Luigi becomes Mrs Hatfield at Urania Georgia native home. Her ninth marriage followed a two day courtship. One husband died and she divorced seven. Mother of fifteen children and a great grandmother at fifty five she says she has found happiness at last with Hatfield.
Sidney J. Welk, 31, the first white man executed in Texas electric chair, died at 12:19 a m after three 12 second 1800 volt bursts. Welk faced the chamber with a smile and bid farewell to a fellow condemned man Lavannie Twitty. He left a message for Sheriff Marshall and praised the attendants as the chair’s final act ended his death sentence.
Twenty one intimate photographs of Dorothy Ellingson will be shown to jurors as alienists argue her abnormal structure supports a claim of matricide. The X ray images reveal teeth jaws glands pelvis and other body parts to suggest physical age and hormonal effects on her nervous system. The defense seeks to prove Dorothy is at least two years older than her actual age.

Cecil Grimes 20 and his sister Marion were involved in a collision near Arden. Cecil was killed and Marion severely injured when their car collided with another vehicle and overturned. The occupants of the other car escaped injury.

Private Pat Coleman of Company E First Infantry Fort Sam Houston was stabbed to death this morning in the military barracks. Authorities report another private remains missing as the search continues.
In Okemah Oklahoma on April 3 Mildred Noilan 24 was acquitted of murder after killing Guy Wilson in self defense when he attacked her in a car Wednesday night. Officers said she acted to end the life of a bad man.
The Interstate Commerce Commission set a tentative valuation of 2,786,600 dollars on Frisco Railroad property in Texas. The filing comes as part of carrier asset assessments across the region.

Dr E C Griffin, an insane asylum superintendent, will testify Purdy was sane, challenging claims of temporary insanity. Trial opened with ten witnesses detailing the Jan 13 shooting in Tulsa.
Federal prohibition officers joined by Mexia detectives raided Navarro county road houses Thursday night arresting three men and one woman on charges of selling liquor and maintaining a place where liquor is sold. They destroyed a beer still and seized multiple bottles and half gallons of corn whiskey along with Jamada ginger.明
Sheriff Terry led officers including Deputy L P Archer Abe Chambers and Constable Harry Robertson in a raid on Freestone county wet district arresting two operators seizing four whiskey stills a 250 gallon unit on Brown Creek and destroying mash and liquor evidence. Several sites on Prairie Creek and near a graveyard yielded 60 20 and 100 gallon stills with mash and liquor seized. Two small children led investigators to one site for a $2 reward. Further arrests expected as raids continue through the winter.
Washington reports the Supreme Court on April 3 quashed indictments against Fall Doheny and Sinclair tied to the congressional oil probe. The actions followed prior proceedings and involved the cases naming Doheny and Sinclair.
