Mesquite OKs 626000 HUD grant for downtown projects
City Manager Ken Duggins announced HUD approved a 626000 Community Development Block Grant for Mesquite for 1977 78. Funds allocate 30000 for downtown building rehab human services, 250000 for Sherwood Forest drainage, 220000 for downtown square upgrades, 61000 for local option, 35000 for planning and management, and 30000 for administration. Public hearing set for July 18.
