C R Sales Co reports a coin box from a Charter Oaks Apartments drink machine missing valued 50 to 80 dollars. Ralph Smith pursued a suspect but failed. A 200 amp welding machine was stolen from Town East Ford Sales on Gus Thomasson Rd valued at 400 dollars. David A Gachot reports an S H stamp dispensing machine stolen from a Mobil Service Station at 2214 Town East Blvd with stamps worth 75 dollars.

Two Mesquite Girls Struck by Truck on Galloway Street
At 9 50 a m Monday two Mesquite pedestrians Ronda Carter 11 and Mary Ann Malone 14 were struck by a southbound 1969 Ford pickup driven by a 31 year old man. Carter suffered serious injuries Malone minor. Both were taken to Mesquite Memorial Hospital.
