Grand Jury Indicts Man In Killing
The Dallas County Grand Jury indicted 40-year-old Donald Mack Martin of Mesquite for the shooting death of his wife Barbara Joan Martin. Barbara was killed in the 4000 block of Clary Drive after a friend saw a man force her to go home. A friend reported the man followed Barbara and demanded she accompany him. a dispute led to the fatal shot. Investigators say Martin was arrested the following day.

Family Gunfight Leaves Brothers Damaged in Mesquite
A family argument at a Mesquite apartment led to a 16 year old shooting his 19 year old brother with a 22 caliber rifle at about 1040 am. The wounded man was treated at Mesquite Memorial Hospital and released. the younger brother was sent to the Dallas County Juvenile Home. No charges announced yet.
