Mesquite Planning and Zoning Commission approved a zoning change from Service Station to Commercial with a Conditional Use for a metal building on 63 acres near Town East Boulevard and Interstate 20. The vote was unanimous with Len Gibbons abstaining. The meeting also approved a preliminary plat for Hillview Addition and Country Club Grove Audition No 4, with waivers for alleys and fencing. Edwin Earl Wilkinson Jr. was among 136 Tufts University School of Dental Medicine graduates in Medford Massachusetts on Sunday June 20.
