Former State Bar of Texas president dies in headon crash
James C. Watson age 55 of Corpus Christi and last year’s Texas Bar president died Friday night in a headon collision north of Stockdale. Sammy Wade Smith of Stockdale, driver of the other car, was passing in a no passing zone when the crash occurred. Watson attempted to evade by steering to the roadside.
