Escaped convict works as substitute teacher jailed

Mesquite Man Killed in Dallas Bank Robbery
A Mesquite security chief Leo Willie 41 was shot and killed during a bank robbery at Texas National Bank in Dallas. Four suspects fled in a stolen car. one was later found dead in a car at Four Seasons Apartments. FBI and Dallas Police continue to search for the remaining three. Willie, a former University Park officer, had served three years with Security Couriers and lived in Mesquite. Funeral services are planned for Thursday in Mesquite.
