Sign overhaul helps Tempe hospital be easier to locate
St Luke's Hospital in Tempe completed a large signage upgrade after two years of negotiations with city officials and Maple-Ash residents. President Brian Bentley notes prior signage blended with nearby businesses and caused confusion, especially for emergency access. The project, costing over 70000, adds brighter, larger signs visible at night and includes modified entrances while balancing zoning concerns with neighbors.

An EPA official warned current laws block EPA authority for this plan.
