Balding Boys Stand With Ill Classmate In Solidarity
In Oceanside California Lake Elementary fifth graders shaved heads to support Ian O Gorman a lymphoma patient undergoing chemotherapy. Eleven year old Scott Sebelius and ten year old Kyle Hanslik led the effort with thirteen youths joining to avoid marking who is sick. Ian's father Shawn O Gorman and teacher Jim Alter joined in the gesture to show unity and hope amid the cancer treatment.
