Fumes blamed on heater make couple ill
A Missouri couple, Geraldine Tate and Cecil Constable, aged 62 and 77, fell ill from carbon monoxide in a Mesa motel. Fire officials said a faulty room heater at the Starlight Motel on East Main Street produced a potentially lethal CO level after they awoke with headaches. They were treated at Mesa General Hospital and released.
