Dallas firm buys Fiesta Mall with plans for expansion

A Dallas based pension fund investor completed the purchase of Fiesta Mall in Mesa from Fiesta Mall Venture for about 125 million. The 1.3 million square foot property will receive expansions under L&B Group which also owns Phoenixs Park Central Mall. The deal was made for public pension fund clients and endowments advised by L&B, with names not disclosed. Thomas said the prior ownerships enhancements helped performance and that further expansion could boost dominance.
