GOLD DISCOVERY NEAR LA PAZ PROMISES RICH ORE
A pearl diver near La Paz on the Gulf of California found a large free milling gold ledge close to tide water. He sold about ten ounces in La Paz and reports say several partners visited the site. The claim covers a 300 plus foot wide ledge with veins yielding twelve to twenty eight dollars per ton, with seventy claims staked and Richard Gird among the discoverers.
