Morton and Silewmann publish advertising rates upon application, detailing pricing options for small businesses and larger campaigns. The notice directs prospective advertisers to request rate sheets and terms from the publishers.
Holbrook residents Zack and Barnes push for a national park with Forest Superintendent Benedict asking for land area and data. Georgia Governor Murphy earlier secured withdrawal of forest land from entry, and talks with Washington officials progress toward establishing the park. John T Hughes of Pima County, son of ex Governor Hughes, a 24 year old lawyer, is a rising candidate for superintendent of schools in Pima County and noted for his silver issue expertise and early political activity.
Several London capitalists connected with the London Exploration company, with Mr Curtis, passed through Florence this week toward the Ray mine. Active work will start at once. engineers survey a wagon road to Bedrock Station on the 58 P. Railroad for hauling heavy machinery. The transfer of the Ray mines to the London Exploration company marks a major county mining deal, signaling increased mining activity.
Giles Otis Pearce, Wm Lipsett and S W Darling locate a sulphur mine group in the Colorado desert. The ledge is five feet wide and up to ninety five percent sulphur. Claims lie seventy five miles east of San Diego and twelve miles north of the boundary within four miles of Coyote Wells. Pearce acts as agent and attorney in fact for partners and will file patent and start development.
The Board of Regents appropriated $1,000 for books for the University library for the coming year. The library rapidly grows as a valuable enduring possession, especially strong in English literature and natural science.
The Copper Queen company finds a rich copper-silver body on the 500 foot level at Nacossari in Sonora about 190 miles south of Bisbee. Rail access projects are being advanced with a narrow gauge line to the furnaces and a standard gauge line pending confirmation of ore extent to at least the 700 foot level.
The Wallace Shows, the sole big circus under League of American Showmen arrangements, will perform in Phoenix on Tuesday November 8. The Ashland Daily Telegram calls the Wallace show the best ever to visit Ashland praising new features, the Nelson family, trapeze, hip podrome and racing events with close finishes that drew loud audience cheers.
Republican candidates spoke at a Monday night gathering addressed by Hon. Jerry Millay and all candidates. Earlier, Malon Lewis had his bicycle stolen while at a dance in the old hall last Friday evening.

The Sunday band concert time was changed to 3 30 p m to align trains with regular schedule. Robert Hill Mr Merrill Frank Tyler and George Birdno from Thatcher and Safford were in Mesa this week.
The Southern Pacific announces the Sunset Limited fast train between Chicago and the Pacific Coast will start around November 1 and run biweekly thereafter. The solid vestibuled Pullman train offers complete dining service. Also a biweekly New Orleans to San Francisco fast train connects with Atlantic Coast trains.
