Prison Farm to Be Supervised by Prof Comstock
Governor Hughes and Board of Control member McCord visited the prison farm from Phoenix to arrange cultivation. They appointed Prof Comstock as supervisor and plan convict labor, an experimental station, and large cereal and vegetable plantings to make the farm self sustaining. The party returned Thursday pleased with the prospects.
