Governor Myron H. McCord of Arizona offers five hundred dollars for the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons who murdered John Price Pratt of Maricopa County. The crime occurred in Gila Bend on August 31, 1897, with sheriff deputies unable to find the killer. reward to be paid upon evidence leading to arrest and conviction.
A notice states settler James B Barkley of Mesa Maricopa County Arizona will make final proof support of his claim before the District Court Clerk in Phoenix on February 12 1898 for NW Lot 1 Sec 1 T1S R5.
