S M McCown called on the president in Washington yesterday by appointment and invited him to visit Phoenix and the Salt River Valley this spring. The president responded cordially and promised to accept if possible.

A gun carriage bore the coffin from the Albert Memorial chapel as Grenadiers fired, the Funeral March sounded, and the procession moved under the arch to the graveside attended by King Edward Emperor William and royal family.
