During the Territorial Teachers' Association meeting in Prescott last December the Archaeological Society of Arizona was organized. It aims to collect and safeguard artifacts such as axes and pottery, prevent looting, and establish a central storage at the Territorial University with named donors listed at the Free Press office.
The National Surgical Institute and its Pacific Branch in San Francisco claim superior treatment for crippled children and a range of conditions. The Maricopa County Republican Central Committee calls a county delegate convention for Phoenix on April 15 1896 at 10 am to elect 27 delegates to the Territorial Convention and conduct party business. Caucuses are set for April 10 at 7:30 pm with inspectors appointed in each precinct and rules on voting, credentials, proxies, and qualifications.
At the annual stockholders meeting in Mesa Maricopa Territory on January 27 1896 Zenos Co-Operative Mercantile and Manufacturing Institution adopted a resolution amending Article VI to cap the maximum indebtedness at fifty percent of subscribed capital stock. W J LeBaron president and Ben F LeBaron secretary certified and filed the action.

He names witnesses Harrison F Rollins Robert Sisley William Irwin and Edgar Hunsaki all of Mesa to prove irrigation and reclamation of the land.
