Mexia Texas publisher Jus A Jones reports recovering from the grippe after using Chamberlains Cough Remedy. He states the second attack was milder, with bed rest of six hours needed vs ten days for the first. Sold by F C Savage.

Mountain Park lodge No 409 resolves in sorrow at the death of Brother J Snow aged about 60s in 1899 He was buried January 7 with Masonic honors in Mountain Fork cemetery He served as a good citizen family man and Baptist church member The lodge offers condolences to his widow and children and asks the minutes be kept and the notice published in the Mena Star
