Womans Parsonage Society meets for convention delegates
The Women s Parsonage and Home Mission Society of the M. E. church south held a profitable devotional and business meeting at the church. Delegates W M Terry J L Cramer and J G McMahon were chosen to attend the annual Mission Society convention in Pine Bluff Arkansas April 27 to May 1. Delegates pay their own travel but Pine Bluff society will entertain them during the event. J T Lanes and E McDonald, stock raisers from Trenton Mo, after spending days in the area, purchased G B Dennis stock ranch two miles east of Mena and plan to move there with stock to expand stock raising. They believe the country is ideal for stock raising and have secured land well watered for that business.

From Nebraska G A Convers with a family of ten arrived Saturday driving stock and taking six weeks for the trip. Convers, a ny engineer, bought property last year in the south part of town and will build a home and seek work at the sawmills. Charles Winter and family joined the trip and bought a home in the south part of town. Several people from the old home expect to move here this fall.
