A tennis club was formed last week in connection with the Sun day school of the Presbyterian church. Adam Harris has provided two lots at Melfort Centre for two courts, with officers including Hon. G C Rankin of Ratner and Chas Hubbard of Edenbridge set out from Edenbridge in a fifteen foot punt to hunt muskrat and otter near Le Pas. Swift rapids and mud impeded return, but they enjoyed the scenery and wildlife including deer elk cariboo and mallards. Rankin urged beaver dam drainage to aid settlement and production.
