High School Hockey Triumph Over Star City Team

Nine Cases On Docket At Sitting Of District Court
A regular sitting of the district court opened in Melfort on Tuesday March with His Honor Judge A E Doek of Prince Albert presiding. Funeral for George Richmond Held at Pleasantdale Cemetery
The funeral of the late George Richmond of Silver Park, who died shortly after a sudden illness near Gibson farm on March 4, was held from his home to Pleasantdale cemetery last Friday. He was 72, survived by three sons and a daughter and a brother. Earle Richmond accompanied him when stricken, and relatives from Minot and Superior attended the service.

Eskimos See Horse For First Time
Eskimos of Haodeon's Bay viewed a white man horse recently and fled into the bush on first sight. Curiosity drew them back to feed and observe as Mr Colin McMillinn said they reached and checked the animal. The horse’s head amused the onlookers while Chey remarked the horse and its feed needed.

R Chimes Buried With Military Honors
Robert John Chimes died at Lady Minto hospital on Sunday March 12 at age four. A former London England native, he served in India and South Africa and worked as a clerk before dying. A military funeral will be held from All Saints church with the Melfort CEF detachment escorting to Mount Pleasant cemetery along local streets to the burial site.
