Dottie Mochrie captured the Crestar Classic at Greenbrier Country Club near Chesapeake with a 4 under 68 final round to finish 16 under 272. She earned $52,000, finishing nine strokes ahead of Chris Johnson who ended at 209 after a 69. Meg Mallon and Patty Sheehan tied for third at 6 under 210 and 211 respectively.
