Doctor Guilty of Indecent Assault Sentenced in Winnipeg
In Winnipeg on June 27, Doctor Thomas Greshuk pleaded guilty to two charges of indecent assault. Magistrate Sir Hugh John MacDonald sentenced him to two years in the penitentiary and twenty lashes. The prisoner collapsed after sentencing and was carried to the cells. He had posed as a fully qualified physician claiming to cure every disease.
