Samuel Bradshaw of Cravath Corners north of here was killed when an infuriated bull gored him in the barnyard. He tried to drive the animal away with a club before the bull forced him down and crushed his left side. Neighbor Fred Fowke rescued Bradshaw by throwing a coat over the bull’s head, but he died from his injuries.
Regina June 21 Members of the Saskatchewan legislature travelled by special train to Sewell camp to honor two assembly members who volunteered for the empire Major Glenn and Lieut Lyle of the 10th and 9th C M R are both legislators.

Premier Norris met about 400 Manitoba Methodist Conference members at the Parliament buildings. Spokesmen urged Prohibition as a war measure with a postwar referendum. Norris said the government cannot enact such laws now and would seek a referendum if elected to office to decide the temperance issue.
Mrs Degon seeks information on her son Williard who died at the front amid report discrepancies. She hopes he did not die of wounds and asks those receiving letters from the 10th Battalion to share any confirmation from his mates.
Bloemfontein June 2 Gen Christian De Wet a rebel leader was found guilty on eight treason counts and sentenced to six years imprisonment and a 2000 pound fine in a British government treason case.
