Hospital unveils outdoor workplace wellness centre for staff

Medicine Hat regional hospital opens a 7,500 square foot secure outdoor staff area for 1,200 employees. The non smoking courtyard includes trees gazebo picnic tables and barbecues with camera and PA system funded by Palliser Health Region.

Schuler School Earns Green School Honor for Recycling Efforts

Schuler school in Medicine Hat area is recognized as a green school by SEEDS foundation after 100 environmental actions by Grades 1 to 9 students. Teacher Tricia Unreiner led the program with student participation in recycling, nature walks, cleanup, and reusable tin jar projects, with a banner and trophy to be unveiled later this month.
