Two Women Die In Bar Brawl At Ste Adèle Motel
In Ste Adèle Quebec a shooting in the Chatel Boise motel basement bar left two women dead and several others injured after a closing time argument. Two men and another woman were wounded and two suspects were arrested after a high speed chase and cottage stop.

Fire destroys elevator and plant in Grassy Lake
Grassy Lake suffered a major fire on Wednesday destroying a twin grain elevator and a nearby fertilizer storage plant. The blaze disrupted life in a farming community of about 250, causing an estimated 1.5 million dollars in damages with no serious injuries reported. Many residents evacuated fearing spread.
