They had wandered Monday with little food and sought shelter seven miles up Ruicide Creek. A tractor path aided the return. A rescue party conveyed them to a cabin seven miles from the start.
After a brief frigid spell the thermometer at Lethbridge rose from 2 below to 34 above by 8:30 AM and 39 above at noon with a southwest wind. A chinook is expected to continue warming, with winds shifting from east to north and then southwest.
