Toronto pair jailed on hate charges over newsletters

Donald Andrews received one year and Robert Smith seven months in prison after a district court found they wilfully promoted hatred against an identifiable non white group through their Nationalist Report. Judge Edward Wren noted the writings targeted blacks and other non whites and Jews.

Five rows of bodies in the hangar and the smouldering wreckage mark Canada's worst air disaster. A chartered U S DC-8 refuelling at Gander Intl Airport en route from Cairo to Kentucky crashed after takeoff, killing 248 soldiers and eight civilian crew.
