Students Near Costa Rica Field Trip From Medicine Hat

The Public School Board approved the trip in principle pending itinerary changes to ensure all activities comply with policy. Trustee Greg Bender opposed white water rafting on the trip. Suspect sought in fence crash

Medicine Hat News reports RCMP seek a suspect in a hit and run in the Brooks area. Between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on November 29 a vehicle damaged a fence along an alley in Lake Newell Mews. Police urge anyone with information to contact the Brooks RCMP Detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222 TIPS.

First time youth summit planned in Saskatchewan

Premier Lorne Calvert announced the Saskatchewan Youth Summit will take place February 2 and 3, 2007 in Saskatoon. The conference targets about 300 young people ages 19 to 30 from across the province to engage with business, education, media and government representatives.
