New York on June 22 announced a fifty two story office building to rise at Lexington Avenue and Forty second Street. The Chanin Construction Company estimates the project will cost 25 million dollars. The structure will reach 625 feet and occupy the former Manhattan Storage Warehouse site.

The Collin County Farm Bureau will hold its monthly meeting Saturday at 3 PM in the local office. I. M. Griffin, county president, notes DeWitt Huckabee, now Van Zandt County Farm Agent and former Texas Farm Bureau Cotton Association rep, will attend along with Rh. Be. Buchanan of Dallas, division supervisor for the association. Huckabee helped boost local cooperative marketing and farm interest.
Melissa High School auditorium hosts Marys Castle in the Air a play by Osborns Sunday school class and the Christian churchs younger members for the benefit of the class. The 8 30 pm show features music by Mr and Mrs Orenduff and director Miss Ruby Long praises the casts talent.

The third annual Vacation Bible School will start Monday June 27 at South Wilcox Methodist Church and run two weeks from 9 to 11 each morning. The faculty will be announced later and organizers invite all children of all denominations and intermediate age to attend. A teacher meeting is set for tonight at 8 at the church to arrange plans.
Miss Inez Chambers of the Rhes Mill community spent Sunday with Mrs Turney Leene in this city.

Edgar H. Bush announces Bush Springs swimming pool three miles south of McWhinney will open for swimming on Monday June 24. The spring fed site offers a large bathhouse spring boards deep water for diving and shallow areas for children. Bush will personally oversee operations this season.
