Dallas Auto Crash Claims Collin Man In 12:15 Morning
J T Smith, about 35, unmarried, died after a crash on Commerce Street near Murphy in Dallas. He had a fractured skull and never regained consciousness. Police arrested N A Crane on reckless driving charges with $200 bond. Smith had lived near Farmersville, his parents there, and planned marriage in Ladenia after purchasing a license in Greenville. Remains sent to Farmersville for burial. interment held there.

Mrs Connell Dies After Ill Health In Wylie
Mrs. Connell, wife of W. M. Connell, dies in Wylie after months of Bright's disease and dropsy. Born in Tennessee, daughter of J. M. Wright, she moved to Texas in 1878. A Baptist since girlhood, she married Sept. 8, 1895 and leaves four children Dee Rosie Leonard and Eunice Oleta, aged 17, 15, 13 and six months. Interment at Fast Side cemetery.
